Carrot Cake Petits Gâteaux

Claimed by many countries as their own, our Carrot Cake Petits Gâteaux combine the best parts of the traditional Australian/American recipe with elements of the Swiss Rüeblitorte. Spiced with cinnamon and ginger, and full of walnut and sultanas, the three layers of cake are separated by layers of orangey cream cheese filling, and decorated on top with more cream cheese icing and home-made mini marzipan carrots.
